Hasbro provides Short-term (STD) and Long-term Disability (LTD) benefits to protect you if you’re unable to work or have a serious illness or injury. Your coverage is automatic, you do not need to enroll.

You will be eligible to receive disability coverage automatically after completing 60 days of active employment with Hasbro.

  • Hasbro provides up to 13 weeks of base salary continuation (STD) in the event you are unable to work due to documented illness, accident or covered disability for more than five continuous business days.
  • You must complete 60 days of active employment with Hasbro before your coverage starts.
  • Salary continuation payments are offset by other disability insurance benefits, such as state disability or Workers’ Compensation insurance.
  • Hasbro automatically provides an LTD benefit equal to 60% of your annual base salary up to $15,000/month and begins after you complete 60 days of active employment.
  • Coverage is updated annually on January 1 using your base salary as of September 1 to reflect changes in your compensation.
  • Benefits are paid monthly, beginning after 13 weeks of total disability, and may continue up to age 65 as long as you are disabled, as determined by Lincoln Financial.
  • If you become disabled from age 60 through 65, the benefit duration is based on a schedule.
  • LTD benefits are offset by other disability benefits, such as state disability or Workers’ Compensation insurance.
